In order to assure a high standard of work and suitability to book illustration in particular, artists must submit work for selection. A committee made up of professionals chosen from different areas of the book industry select the illustrators to be included in The Style File. This process will take place annually, after which new illustrators will join the site and existing illustrators will have the opportunity to update their examples if they wish. As we do not discriminate between artists who have or have not been published - you will find some exciting new talent on the site. To find out more about each artist, have a look at their biography page for information about themselves and their career. Some artists will also have a link to their own websites, or you may contact them to request to view more examples of their work.
